Sometime in the early 1980s. I drove my VW Beetle down to La Salina beach, which was undeveloped then. I thought I was the only one visiting the beach that day but, when I returned to my car, all four tires had been slashed and the contents, including my wallet and clothing, had been impolitely removed.
